At Swindon Elim - we believe that Missions is very important - and we support people serving overseas in Zimbabwe and Thailand with the view of supporting further Missionaries in the near future. We support the missionaries through prayer and by raising money through Life Link [the Fund Raising Aspect of Elim Missions led by a group of women from Swindon Elim church] by having numerous activities for all people of all ages such as, sponsored events, activity evenings: such as food and quiz nights, movie nights and much, much more. Selling of different items and having numerous meals together are other ways we make more money. Every so often we have Missionaries come and visit us at the church from around the world and speak about their work. At some point in the future, it is our desire to send a missions team to specific countries to help with numerous `hands on` projects. This will help encourage the Missionaries in their work as well as give us, as a church – a better understanding of the worlds issues and its needs. Through Elim International Missions, we are connected with the world helping to make a difference for the Glory of God!
