"First-timer"?
We know it can be a little daunting going somewhere you've never been before, so here is some information about what you can expect on a usual Sunday at Swindon Elim Pentecostal Church
What time do I arrive?
We have one service that starts at 10.30am.
Where do I park?
There is car parking available on the church premises for visitors. If the car park is full, parking is available in Primary School or on the surrounding streets (but please pay attention to the various parking restrictions!). A map and directions of where to find us are available here.
I have a disability, what support is available?
We have good access for people who need to use a wheelchair and a conveniently located disabled toilet. Please contact us before you visit if you require any additional information or assistance.
What will happen when I arrive?
You will be welcomed by a member of the team, and you are free to sit wherever you like. You will probably be greeted by a number of friendly people but don't worry, no pressure will be applied to 'join up'. However if you feel that you want to make Swindon Elim your spiritual home then there are plenty of people you can talk to.
What about the service?
The first service lasts for approximately 2 hour. During the service there will be a time of corporate singing, as part of our worship to God. We sing a mixture of traditional hymns and contemporary songs. We place a strong emphasis on teaching. The sermons are always Bible based and we seek to give application of the Bible to enable us to live more like the people God wants us to be. Sometimes there is the practice of the spiritual gifts listed in 1 Corinthians 12. Tea and coffee are served after the service, so if you want to chat to a few people this is an ideal opportunity.
What's available for children?
During the service we have activities for children of all ages. Children join the service for the first 30 minutes before splitting into the following groups; Midget Gems [Creche], Mum's & Tot's and Kingdom Kids.
What shall I wear?
Anything! People feel comfortable wearing suits, jeans, shorts - basically come in whatever you feel comfortable in!

There are a variety of activities for different age groups during the week. Please see the Programmes section at the top menu or click on the Church calendar to view the activity on a particular day.
