- SPEND TIME PLANNING AND ORGANISING - your day.
- SET GOALS - don`t waste time pursuing insignificant ventures.
- HAVE A TO DO LIST.
- PRIORITISE – your `jobs` based on urgency and importance:
- ELIMINATE THE URGENT- create time for important priorities.
- DELEGATE OR ELIMINATE THE TRIVIAL.
- BE FLEXIBLE – allow for interruptions and distractions.
- CONQUER PROCRASTINATION -a little bit at a time, will help you `finish` the task.
- LEARN TO SAY NO
- REWARD YOURSELF - for the work you do.
- KEEP A TIME LOG 1 - on where you are `wasting time`
- KEEP A TIME LOG 2 - on how much time you’re not relaxing.
- HAVE A BIN LIST – get rid of anything that’s not helping you.
- BE REALISTIC - don’t waste time `aiming` for the impossible.
- BE MOTIVATED - boredom can easily lead to discouragement.
- ESTABLISH ROUTINES
- LIMIT TIME WASTERS - get the jobs done…then relax.
- TAKE 5 - minutes to evaluate yourself. Ask yourself the following:
- How well did I do today?
- What could I have left undone?
- What should I have done but didn’t?
- How can I do better tomorrow?
- What needs to `go`?
- How can I prioritise better?
