Operation Christmas Child

Send love in a gifted box to a child who has less than we do.

This joyful outreach invites every one of us to share the generous love of our Almighty God. Together we can pack and send shoebox gifts that carry hope, dignity, and delight to children across the world. Thank you for joining this exciting and heartfelt challenge

Why we do this

We are working together with one objective. We want to show the love that our gracious God has given to us. It is our turn to share His love by sharing it through gifted boxes. Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your generosity. Be blessed and be joyful in your heart.

The Together Boxes

Give a financial gift and we will build the boxes for you.

  • Suggested gift: £25 for one shoebox. Any donation amount is welcome.
  • Gift deadline: 19/10/2025. We need time to order online, shop, receive deliveries, and pack.
  • We will steward your gift with care and fill each box with quality items and prayer

How you can take part

We have three simple ways to participate. Choose one, or mix and match.

The Family Boxes

Create your own box or boxes as a household, with friends, or as a small group.

  • Fill your box with loving toys and helpful school supplies.
  • Please have your completed boxes ready for collection by 02/11/2025
  • If you choose a size 5 shoebox, you can use the printed boy or girl and age label, or cut and stick the label on top

Drop Off Items

If you prefer to donate individual items, a collection box will be at the back of the church near the sound area.

  • Open for donations from Sunday 31/08/2025 until Sunday 02/11/2025
  • New items only please. Examples include T shirts, sunglasses, small toys, soap, toothbrush, hairbrush or comb, writing supplies, and handmade hats or caps.
  • Items must fit into a slim size five shoebox.

What to pack

Here are popular ideas that delight children and also serve them well

If you use a size 5 shoebox, please attach the age and gender label to the lid. Many ready made boxes now include a printed section to tick, which makes things very simple.

A soft toy, a doll, or a mini blanket.

Hygiene items

Flip flops, shoes, socks, bar soap, toothbrush, wash cloth, a brush or a comb
